Hopefully Biden talks himself into a hole, but like Trump, do his supporters care?

Young voters are the key to getting someone more progressive nominated. But it's hard to get them to vote and really hard to get them to vote in primaries.

I remain unconvinced that Jimmy Dore, at least up to now, has significant influence on our political scene.

Given the perpetual Trump/Twitter/rants and said reactions liberals have....I would hope the Democratic base cares about what is said. There has been a lack of decorum recently,  so the bar can be raised.  I still think it would be conspiracy like suicide if the Dems choose Biden.

I don't think anyone outside the corporate media has significant influence on our political scene.

I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them.  I also attack my side if I think they're wrong.  People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.

Yes, so when you listen to fringe sources, you get "non representative ideas" for lack of a better term of what's going on with the voters. Not liking MSM is fine, but podcasts will get nobody elected. If they ever did get popular enough, they would stop using podcasts and become MSM.

No. Trump is still a Nazi. The Earth is still dying. Dems are still alienating the center and intentionally sabotaging candidates like Gabbard and Yang who threaten their preferred nominee. They are stuck in east Berlin with the wall of TDS and their socialist politics separating them from America.

I'm genuinely surprised Dems think they have a shot at beating Trump.

It really will come down to turnout, especially in the primaries.

I'd vote for Biden over Trump but not Biden in the primary.  I think Biden will hurt the dem party worse.  Biden seems like a Yes man.

The dem party has done a lot to distance Bernie and that has lost a lot of peoples energy.  People will be numb enough to let the media influence them for Biden in the primary.  It's pretty much mk ultra repeat tapes.

I think that podcasts cater to the left and the right, people whose mind is already made up.

There was an interesting headline recently that 2 billion dollars will be spent this election cycle to try and sway about 6% of voters who haven’t made up their minds.

Warren now (predictably) pulling a Kamala Harris by furthering watering down her support for Medicare For All, calling it a framework. No, it’s a god damn 100 page bill that Bernie Sanders wrote and you didnt co sign.
