No, but the monterrey pop festival did. Woodstock was just a cheap monterrey pop wanna be knockoff. Monterrey pop was the real deal.

Of course there were some great sets at woodstock, but for the most part woodstock was a disaster.

I feel like it did. It was a such a huge event that changed live music and festivals forever. The experience of Woodstock was the original music festival experience. It was important to the counter-culture crowd.

In the butterfly effect way, sure. But no. I saw this image in a documentary about Woodstock that I wish I could find. Somebody made a huge peace sign out of all the garbage those stupid hippies left behind. To me that a the perfect representation of Woodstock. A peace sign of trash

Sha Na Na was the only band who performed "at cost" in the spirit of the Revolution. They only asked a few hundred bucks for the gig. Others, like Jimi Hendrix, made bank.

Or do you mean their movement? People still do it now when people protest. You know, get a job, get a haircut, same shit. Commie, socialist blah blah blah
