Woodstock!! Come one come all...
AUGUEST 15&16 2009 is the 40th anniversary of the famous peace and music festival Woodstock! In its honor two Free concerts are being held; One in New York and the other in Berlin, Germany. The New York show still is undecided on its venue, I will post more info as it comes out. Anyway I will be attending the show for sure, anyone from shroomery is welcome to come and enjoy some free fruits I will have to hand out. I will be driving and biking from Minnesota along with a buddy from Texas. Your not too far away! its Woodstock!!!
"According to TheRockRadio, no bands have yet been named for either festival, but organizers reportedly hope to recruit some of the acts that played the original fest in 1969, namely the Who, Santana, the Grateful Dead and many more."

I'm glad to see this one seems to have a better list of acts

yeah the last one was terrible... absolutely terrible, insane clown pussy i mean posse, kid rock... ugh, but this year it should be in the true spirit of Woodstock.

What a kick ass lineup! How could this not be big news? I don't have TV, but I'm still shocked that I didn't hear about this.
I don't like that it's being held in two different places though.

It's because theres no venue and they don't even have a difinitive lineup. Why start big news for something that probably won't happen?

Maybe since all of the bands won't be at the same venue, it's not really that big of a deal. You can take any two really good concerts, put them together and call it "Woodstock".

Sounds awful. Woodstock was a singular festival that happened to be great. This is just some preplanned, 'hey I wish I was alive back then so Ill go to this bullshit', bullshit. You missed it,  , theres plenty of other festivals to attend that are probably equally as decadent as the original Woodstock was, does the name really mean that much to you guys?

I don't think it's going to happen. A festival of that size would have to be put together
months in advance, and it hasn't even been listed on jambase yet. Also, how could anybody make
plans to attend on such short notice?
