Identification!
    #26138031 -

Hi there, I’m quite new to mushroom hunting, I’ve researched it a bunch, and I’ve been out hunting in a nice spot, an open field, on a hill, it’s good woodland the whole way around, it’s known to be a good lib cap hunting ground by people I know who have had luck before! I know it’s still a bit early yet, we’ve had a lot of rain in the south, I’ve had a look in the woodland area, grassy sided footpath has given me some mushrooms which I picked, then threw out as they have white spores! However, a bunch popped up on the field part, which I was hopeful for! I need to see the real deal in the flesh to get the FOR SURE identification, I know what they look like, and as no one is about to identify the ones I’ve picked, so I have some pictures if anyone can help me out! I don’t think these are the real deal, I just need to be told to be sure! Some have a slight umbo on top, dark purple gills, slimy membrain kinda top, that seems to have a layer on top when wet!! Any comments would be very helpful, thanks!!

Just above the thread list on the right hand side is a little icon saying “Post”. Click on that and fill in the information for an ID request.
