monotub not fruiting first time

I'm using an air pump with an inline filter and one small hole on the other side of the tub I've had it in fruiting conditions for about 10 days it's fully colonized but there is some mist over the surface do I need to let that dry out or what

Pics would definitely help.

Generically, evaporation of moisture from the surface does encourage fruiting. It's one of the major triggers to let the mycelium know that there are adequete conditions to procreate

I think I need a new meter.

How the shit are you people sitting it 90%  humidity.

I would have to use a mister,  or cold air humid,  to get anywhere near that (or my meter is FUCKED)

Have never had it over 60.  And I drowned the damd things doing it.

might the low humidity be cause for smaller mushrooms?
or just the too much water, trying to keep the humidity up?

Many people would suggest you don't use a meter like that as you will likely misinterpret things and end up drowning your fungi.

The meter is testing humidity in the air, not on the mycelium. Air humidity tells you very little about how the mycelium is doing.

If you look at some of Bod's TEKs I believe you will see that if he uses a meter it may read around 20-30% air humidity.
