Thoughts on new Japanese mask tattoo design? * 1

I asked my tattoo artist what id need to have to score a tattoo apprenticeship and he told me to forget about portraits for now and build a portfolio of simple tattoo designs like my anubis one.
so for my portfolio im designing this japanese mask type image. im thinking about putting a dragon on its head and have the body flow through it and have like flowers around making sure it flows nice, if i like it il get it tattooed but im wondering what you guys think of the design.
im gonna be coloring it in photoshop too.

unfortunately his shop isnt looking for apprentices right now but he told me he'd hit me up once they are so thats something, he believes in me at least :smile:

Your Japanese mask drawing looks rough but still looks legit to the theme of Japanese masks. Nice work :thumbup: The two horns look like they are floating, which is throwing me off.

yeah its not quite finished yet, need the hair still and whatever im putting on the head, probably a dragon mouth, at least i wanted it there lol

selenite fractures at the exact balancing act of black tourmaline for me. It's like a top to bottom view of the mineral world.
But maybe so and maybe not, because the tourmaline is extremely heavy and must be cleansed multimople times to harness.
That is why you should take your art of body tattoo to the written spell world or maybe to enriching the earth soul soil even if it's just a small one plot lot.
THe human body is not a canvas, so hold tight on the pen.
THe body is the sacred vessel of the Lord, who is old as the ancients, who also knew.

my hannya mask design, roughly 20-25hours of digital painting so far. 15 hours spent on thursday, definitely need to find something quicker than photoshop, too time consuming on gradient smoothing. not gonna get anywhere fast at this rate
