That Pablo Arellano music is heavenly.  If I was going to play any music DURING a trip, that would be it.  I like Entheogenic, Ott, Shpongle afterwards.  It's trippy music in and of itself, and it feels like it prolongs the action.

@TR:  That mountain cabin sounds like it could be the next Hitchcock Estate/Millbrook Manor.  Have car, will travel!  :lol:

I always get anxiety as soon as i start to feel it. I just take slow hits, hold em for about 5 seconds, exhale. Then i take a nice breath in my nose n out my mouth to try n stay calm, between each hit. Eventually i go out of body and dont even remember exhaling the last hit. Edit. Hey whats they crystal in your signature pics?

I too feel some 'DMT fear'. I've heard some describe the experience as "walking a line of bliss and fear". But when I truly break through and bust out of that odd in-between, that fear melts away in awe of the journey. My advice: the in-between DMT come up head space is definitely anxiety provoking for some, break through and it'll melt away. Safe travels

I only get "pre-flight" jitters.  Once I hit the pipe, I'm committed and my invariant mental message to myself "simply observe" goes into effect.

Remember, no matter what - it's just an appearance to your mind.  In a few minutes, you WILL be back to baseline, whether you want it or not.  Hundreds of DMT (and other) trips have taught me that.

Another approach is to put the "right" amount in the pipe and take one massive hit and hold it in until you forget you have lungs.

Each to their own though.  :shrug:

That's a recipe for a difficult experience.

One day you'll get a dense chunk of dmt and load up what looks like 35mg and it will be 70mg.....

That's what I do as well :lol:....I never weigh my DMT, I just load up a big ol' pile/scoop onto a bowl, what is likely around 80mg to 100mg, and I hit it until I am gone. Sometimes that first toke will do it, sometimes I'll hit it twice before I'm gone & out, either way there is usually some left in the bowl after lol.


I have two approaches to smoking DMT...One is taking a small sub-breakthrough dose, a "puff" or two, where I am still present in my body and aware of my surroundings. Beyond threshold but nowhere near a breakthrough.

And the other approach I have is aiming to get as far out as I can...When I do this I load up A LOT on a bowl and just hit it until I'm "gone". My rule of thumb is to use just a wee bit more than what I think I'll need.

In both situations I just eyeball what looks right to me in the moment, it's usually either a little pinch or a big pile lol...no inbetween for me.

I don't think anyone in the thread was telling the OP to take a full dose ro to "go all the way".

But since the OP did say that nothing interesting was happening for them at all so far, and they mentioned they were only working with tiny doses of 10mg to 15mg....they said they were feeling a bit overwhelmed while also not having anything interesting occur..

....So I did mention that nothing interested is happening probably because they're taking such a tiny dose. And that with a full proper dose, one usually doesn't have time to react or time to become "overwhelmed".

With a proper dose....Something interesting will almost for sure happen, and there isn't much time for a person to react to the intensity/overwhelming nature of smoked DMT (until they've come back down).

Same here...

Once the pipe is up to my lips and I'm inhaling I'm "in the zone" lol, a lot of the jitters fade into the background. Just breathing and observing.

What method are you using to smoke the dmt? If youre using the sandwich, how do u blast off in one hit? I end up having to take 2 slow hits where i milk it and get a decent weed coal going. The weed coal melts the dmt down, i get small hits of dmt at this point. Then the 3rd and 4th hit i am sort of fucked up at this point so i just hit it with a bit more flame and this is where i end up getting the best hits. Any smoking advice is appreciated.

So, I thought Ayahuasca was legal and have been trying so hard to find somewhere to buy it. I haven’t had any luck. Am I wrong? Is it not legal? If it is, why can’t I find Anywhere to buy it???

I know I'm being the devils advocate here, but it appears that there's some sort of theme in this thread that eyeballing doses is a good idea.

I know several people personally though who have had traumatic experiences doing this and there's scores more online who have run aground by doing this.

The difference between hitting 40mg and 80mg in experiential terms is 10 fold, not double. Heck, even 40mg hit properly is a full OOBE.

This is a primarily a harm reduction site after all, and I would definitely call such actions risky.

Sure someone with years of experience can gauge where they are at and push it just far enough and stop, but a less experienced person may well clean the screen and end up in an alien autopsy, where they are the alien being operated on. It happens. It happens a lot. It changes peoples lives and not necessarily for the better.

Just looking out for my bretheren here, not trying to preach.  :peace:

The plants are legal but once they're mixed together it's a illegal substance.
