New to the Shroomery, hello. * 5

Hi everyone. I've been lurking for a while and thought I'd now say hello. I'm not completely new to growing shrooms and definitely not new to experiencing them. The Shroomery is a great resource that provides good answers when one learns how to master the search function. It's not perfect but it's still very good.

I'm an old creepy middle aged suburban dad, with an ever increasing waistline and ever decreasing IQ. I live surrounded by very straight suburban Germans who I maintain a polite distance from.

I wanted to get back into growing some mushrooms as I have been suffering from anxiety for a few years now and read about microdosing. Due to  my experience with lsd and mushrooms the  microdosing hypothesis made sense to me. Of course I'd like to do some psychonauting as well.

As I mentioned, because of my age and social situation scoring any illegal drugs is nigh on impossible, either the kids think I'm a narc or a fool and rip me off. Although annoying I understand I too was a dickhead when young. Probably still am. So that being the case, self sufficiency is the answer.

Hello Creep. Welcome to The Shroomery. Do you smoke bud too. Personally weed makes me too paranoid so i only do it rarely but when i do i love some good music and Radiohead is top tier.
With your choice of username i feel like it's only the right thing to do, to post this video:

In the meantime, most people use th Pub to discuss every day things. If you want to discuss psyches including details such as the issues you mentioned, they can be discussed here, and i do not intend to deter you from posting that stuff here because it's completely acceptable, but you will get some light hearted responses that you may not want to read. Thanks mate, I do smoke weed but now only on occasion. It's a time management thing. I wasn't too interested in discussing psyches I just included it in my introduction. I thought the pub may be the right place for an introductory thread.

And yep Radiohead is a good choice 😉

Germany has a great cactus nursery for psychedelic and other cacti, Koehres Kakteen. Lophophora koehresii is named after the proprietor.

Look OP, that Magenta man is a fraud. A trickster. Friendly enough at first he's a beast lurking in the dark, waiting to steal away your innocence. There was a man here, a man named Trent. Well.. he was never the same after Magenta it a hold of him. Again. And again. I'll have you know.. all the stories are true. I wish they weren't, but unless you want to end up like Trent I'd steer clear of the Magenta man. Never trust an Australian, friend. Best of luck to you. If you meet up with him, tie your shoes. He's not a good runner. But then again, neither is Trent.

It depends. I personally don't like it as it's just too commercial and too full. If you like drowning yourself in German beer whilst sitting amongst crowds of dribbling pissheads then that's the place for you. I'd recommend Wacken over Oktoberfest everytime.
