No. Also, weren't the October Fests last week? Or do they go on the entire month? I believe some colleagues partied in Munich last week.

It is this week and next!
@zippoz: theres a sam adams beer with that name? Rad!
There is a town in Ontario (kitchener) which has the 2nd biggest octoberfest in the world (next to germany). It's always a shitshow lol. I guess you guys don't have the same kind of thing though.

i used to get pints after work at a resturant i worked at for $1 USD (i assume youre not in the usa if you dont know about this) it was the cheapest octoberfest in town

I had a couple octoberfest beers the other night when I was out at a show. Haven't been drinking much lately, but they were pretty good. Can't remember which microbrewery they were from. Nice style of beer for the time of year. A little malty, not so hoppy.

I wandered around collecting abandoned glass beer steins to collect the 3 euro deposit on each. I was able to pretty much drink for free because idiot tourists didnt realize they were also paying for deposit on the glass. After a few days of getting sloshed for free and passing out in the fields I lost contact with my backpack and became discontent opting to leave.
