That experience might make for an interesting memory or a cool story but I see nothing worthwhile beyond that unless you’re a seriously fucked up masochistic  person

There’s way better things to do on the shrooms peak like taking molly or doing K or smoking pot or inhaling nitrous or playing video games or listening to dire straits or having sex or going on a bike ride or eating chocolate cake. 🤷‍♂️

Are you guys talking eating the straight, raw pepper?  If so, then fuck that, I don't see how that could be anything but pain. 

I did have some sauce made with reaper peppers this weekend and I was on a low dose of shrooms.  It added another realm of taste that my tripping mind definitely appreciated.  However, the sauce was diluted with other flavors, so it wasn't full force Carolina Reaper.

If you end up eating a whole-ass reaper while tripping, though, I'm with the dude who said to get it on recording.

I've personally never tried a Carolina reaper. But these guys that love capscacin get an endorphin rush after the burn. I want to experience that at least once. I don't remember experiencing that on the scorpion pepper, it was just a really intense burn that got hotter with each exhale. It lasted about 15 mins. The worst of it. I love cool stories. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, and sometimes look like an idiot. But if I do this it will have to be a ghost pepper and of course I'd film it. Ghost peppers are hot too. I've had ghost peppers fresh that range from wow that's hot to holy hell that was spicy.

I'm a chili head, and definitely dabbled with hot food on psychedelics.

I recommend starting off lighter, because it's more intense; but it gives you a great opportunity to embrace the heat.

Work your way up, just have a few really tasty hot sauces; don't just eat a Carolina Reaper, for a couple reasons, one, they're not the most pleasant tasting and second, it's 10/10 intensity right off the bat; and if you can't handle it, while tripping, oh my lord.

I always compare hot food to psychedelics, as in; you're better off trying a smaller amount first to see how it hits ya, rather than just eating a full tablespoon' and an entire TOP tier hot pepper.

Raw habanero dipped in good maple syrup and eaten in one bite is awesome if you have a decent heat tolerance. Otherwise raw pepper flavor doesnt do much for me

Years ago I had this bloke at my house and we were tripping on acid. He started asking about my chillies and found the ghost pepper. Picked one and asked if he could eat it, I was like "yeah sure man, but it'll probably burn your face off". So he nibbled the tip of it and says to me it tastes sweet. I'm thinking wtf and grab it off him and nibble the tip, sure enough it was as sweet. So he takes it back and bites it in half and starts chewing it. It burned my eyes a bit just stood next to him.  :lol:. So next thing he's shaking his head around trying to get it out, trying to drink water, I'm trying to stop him and give him milk but he's ignoring me and drinking water anyway. Next thing the poor bastard is on his knees puking up on my lawn.  :lol:
Tripping and burning and spewing with me stood there laughing at him, bet it was fun intense for a while there. He came right and it didn't ruin his trip, but I don't reckon he'll do it again.

Jalapenos can be perceived as much spicier than habeneros and even comparable to ghost peppers to me :shrug: :lol:

I get that. A habanero has more a bite than a burn. Jalapenos for whatever burn my ass on the way out but If ever eat the ghost pepper never have problems with burning shits.

I used to buy these scotch bonnets from my regular supermarket. Then I go in one day and they are all red, weird because they are usually red, green, yellow, and orange. I take them home and find the smallest one and I just eat the whole thing right there. I expected it to be hot but this thing was way way hotter than any scotch bonnet I'd had before. If I could compare it to something, that 1chip challenge wasn't this hot. I ended up with a ulcer on the bottom of my tongue, in a perfect place to rub on my teeth whenever I talked or just generally opened my mouth or moved it. especially since the ulcer made my tongue swell ever so slightly. This took weeks to heal and it was one of the most annoying and painful injuries I've had. I would rather have broken a bone than this. I didn't want to talk, for weeks. When I did I was resentful I had to do it. I lost sleep, had less sex. Generally just really grumpy. For weeks. Because of one lil teeny scotch bonnet. Ever since then I'm super cautious.. barely put on the sriracha compared to how I used to. In my defense these bonnets had some weird tips/little tails. Clearly they grew beside hotter shit and someone let them cross breed. I don't think I'll buy those peppers again

Fresh ground black pepper is spicy to me. Medium picante is hot to me too. I would probably die if I ate anything hotter than a de-seeded jalapeno in salsa or cooked in food. Plain fresh Jalapenos by themselves are too hot for me really.

I ate a Scotch Bonnet on lunch break at work with a friend about 7-8 months ago. He had a bottle of Blair's Ultra Death and we put that shit on everything. Goes great on zaxbys chicken strips. I know a Carolina reaper would probably be rough for me, but a ghost on a good dose I can see my myself doing.
