i dig the fazed bass about half way through. what'd you use to make this tune?

although I'm not heavy into dnb, I still like it.  My ears are searching for some kind of lead/melody, but that's not what drum and bass is... lol

You would be surprised. One of the reasons I like dnb is that there are so many subgenres, theres a flavor for everyone. I bet that if you were exposed to the right stuff you would be like,"damn, this is pretty melodic".

Good start of a track here. Good subs and lead and use of panning. Bongos are nice. I just think that the beat needs a little more work. Maybe layer a busier break behind it(perhaps the think break) and high pass filter it. Over all nice job man, I dig it.

I like it. But it sounds like a barebones track. You got what it takes... why don't you upgrade to Reason or Cubase?

Well you can't get a working warez copy of Cubase because it has a dongle hardware key, but you can find Reason 2.5 anywhere on the net with a good search.
