Wu Tang Stuff * 3

Anybody a huge Wu Tang and Wu Tang affiliate fan? I used to listen to it occasionally throughout middle and high school, but lately I've been listening to RZA, GZA, Ghostface, and Raekwon a ton. The way that they rhyme and navigate their words is incredible, and they seem to have especially 'freaky' lyrics in terms of referencing Eastern mysticism, science fiction comics, death and horror themes, and all typically done cleverly and technically. A lot of violence too, but that's an important part too.

Massive fan. Newest album wasn't that great IMO but their older ones and solo stuff is fucking epic.

I highly recommend Inspetah Deck's solo work; he's definitely the best lyricist in the bunch. GZA & Raekwon have a couple of sick albums, but really, they're all good.

Check out the album DOOM vs. Czarface. It is a DOOM/WU TANG collaboration. It's pretty damn good.

This. Anytime I'm talking Wu with someone I can't stress the greatness of INS enough. Never seems like he gets the props he deserves compared to some of the other Clan members. Have you checked out Czarface, with him, 7L and Esoteric? Really great stuff.

It's not really accurate to call it a Wu-Tang collaboration, as only Inspectah Deck is a Clan member, but that album is fire. Have you heard their new album with Ghostface?

I came upon the album as a DOOM fan, so i don't know too much wu tang. I do like ghost face though. I saw him live before and it was pretty hip.
