Ladies: What would you think of a man wearing perfume?

Was talking about androgyny recently and I concluded I'd probably never wear womens clothes in public but I've never liked cologne. I think I'm gonna get myself some perfume soon, smell all fucking delicious.

So I'm curious, would that be well received by women? I don't see why it wouldn't but I thought I'd get it straight from the horses mouth

Maybe you should investigate some unisex fragrances

There are some good ones that definitely work for men and women.

I've heard from women that they mix a little sprtiz of mens cologne with their perfume. they say it helps attract a mate.

possibly it works both ways?

Also to not be off topic I love when I smell good cologne and a couple older guys have blown me away with their scent. I think there's one I like called Stetsons but I'm probably not spelling it right

I can't freaking stand the "manly smell" of anything other than the original Old Spice deodorant. Back when I could afford such things I used to make my own fragrant lotion with a variety of herbs and spices. It was decidedly not feminine but way too floral to be considered "manly". Never got any complaints from the ladies, though.  :douchewink:

thas a good idea. I rub oregano leaves on my skin whenever I pass by my plant, favorite herb smell I've found so far

I happen to like the smell of my cologne better then perfumes but I love the perfume on her when I’m snuggling with my girl or something. I guess the only pitfall would be I’m pretty sure a woman would notice that shit.

If I may give a suggestion, look into Taylor of Old Bond Street aftershaves. Its a high end shaving supplies company and its fragrances are special, at least IMHO.

Its a world of class apart from the usual suspects of facial fragrances.

Gender roles are straight from the horse's ass. There are no women's or men's clothes in reality, they're all just a stupid thing we put on our miraculous bodies because society inculcates fear and shame to repress our divine nature, otherwise people would riot naked over the injustice of such legislation. Same with wearing fucking perfume/cologne and deodorant, it's only because we're all taught to hate our bodies, it's been the norm for so fucking long that most people don't challenge it, etc. I'm completely turned off by that shit, I want to fall in love naturally with a natural human (it hasn't happened yet, but I'll be alive and well for a long-ass time to come). That's the actual truth. You're welcome to believe the lie, but it will prevent you from elevating to the light.

I am starting to see why the movement for trans people and androgyny are becoming more prevalent. By knocking down the lines/boundaries of male female and making it seem like all are one sex or no sex, there can be no discrimination between men and women thereby leveling the field of people at work or in public to people of a certain mindset that wish this to happen. I think it will be a very long time if this comes to be if it ever does, but why not live and be happy and do what you like as long as it doesn't hurt others. I am perplexed at the mindset of "what difference does it make what sex I am or what I Identify as" while simultaneously being angry that the correct pronoun isn't used when it is guessed instead of asked.:confused:


I have a bottle of Halston Z-14 that I love, it's halfway gone and I've had it for years. I love the way cologne smells on men and some perfumes on women. Some are really horrible and can be really overdone. I'll probably look for a current new scent the next time I buy cologne. I also have a bottle of Nautica, blue stuff.
