By knocking down the lines/boundaries of male female and making it seem like all are one sex or no sex, there can be no discrimination between men and women thereby leveling the field of people at work or in public to people of a certain mindset that wish this to happen. I think it will be a very long time if this comes to be if it ever does, but why not live and be happy and do what you like as long as it doesn't hurt others. I am perplexed at the mindset of "what difference does it make what sex I am or what I Identify as" while simultaneously being angry that the correct pronoun isn't used when it is guessed instead of asked.
