NSW Subs ID please

Hey knowledgeable folk,

Second hunt today and pretty sure I have come across some P.subs. Still very new to this so want some confirmation from the old timers.

FYI, there are 3 shrooms I am unsure of and have placed all three in my hand for clarity. I also took a (really shit) spore print of one of them. The rest I am 95% sure are active!

Found in NSW national park, rainy day, wood chip with a bit of green. (I will post their habitat too).

Definite blue bruising on stem and around the cap, dark brown gill, long stem some white and some white and brown (it was very rainy when I picked these species and so it was muddy which may explain the darker stem towards the bottom).

Please let me know if you need more info.

A couple of your mushrooms have brown stems near the base, but become white near the top. Is that because you bruised them or did you find them like that? I find that some will go brown when you bruise them, but turn  blue after a couple of hours.

not quite sure as it was pissing down with rain when I found them so was all a bit stressful (as my paper bag was soaking wet and so was I).

They all had blue bruising when I found them however. Are they subs 100% though? Or not?

I think they are subs but im not 100% condident on that. Wait for a TI to confirm if they definitely are subs.

One thing you can do is see what the stem feels like. Subs will feel firm and look fairly solid. I have found lookalikes that were very hollow inside. Bruising is a good sign of a psilocybe mushroom but i think there are some exceptions. For example, galarinas can also appear to have black bruising which can be confused for a psilocybe. So I would definitely get a second opinion from a TI just to be certain

Ok cheers mate. I'm pretty certain they all have blue bruising; i have come across a few gallerinas and as soon as I saw this patch I instantly knew it was different.

Yeah I don't think they are galarinas. I just like to be cautious. Nice find though mate.

They all look like Psilocybe subaeruginosa to me but just make sure they all bruise blue, sometimes it takes a while.
