Hello all who care to listen,

I've been a silent researcher for too long. There's something fuckin crazy about plants: and that deserves to be shared. The compulsion to chase this "crazy" shown since before I had ever communed with Cannabis. I guess I can blame coffee. This obsession never left, even as I became a father and my life took a beautiful turn I had never expected. I love my family, but I can't help but share my time learning about all botanicals from Melissa to Desmanthus.

But since the small one came to this world, I fell into a pit of alcoholism, but pulled myself out before it hit the 2 year mark. I have experience with Mushrooms, Amanita, small-dose LSA, a few cactus trips, and LSD. I guess I'm joining because I want to journey to the world of purple-blue skies and vibrant grasses, particularly LSA and Mescaline, due to their production in certain plant species. After LSD, I became frightened. It wasn't like any psychedelic I've tried and was extremely dysphoric but definitely changed my perception on time, space, and death. Even two years later with zero experiences in between, I integrate a little more every week or so. And as life progresses, the hallucinations reappear. I was in a near-fatal car accident a week ago, I survived, but realized the things I felt after coming to it after whiting out were familiar. This car crash was one of the ways Lucy showed me death. It's crazy. I've had many realizations like that. There is something to those serotonin receptors.

Anyway, thanks for reading. I'm just looking for community, man. I don't bother with hanging out with anyone. I've got too much to do. But y'all are cool and druggynerdy like me. I have a decent cactus collection, and started a heavenly blue and rivea in pots I plan to overwinter come that time. It sucks I am in zone 6 though. Plants are my career and my hobby, I'd love to do trades, share knowledge, etc.

Welcome! Check out the ethnobotanicals place and the trich/cactus thread. I found a cactus at a homo despot 8 years ago. Harvested 30g dried outer green skin only, had a med level trip! So, it's pretty active. It was labeled "Peruvian Torch" as well, couldn't believe it.

As a survivor of a near death car crash as well, I empathsiZe.

Did time slow down for you too? It did for me seconds before impact that felt like forever; I even had a sense of calm. I remember “feeling” (NOT HEARING) a voice say “well, I have spent 23 years of life. I am ok if it’s time to go”

Then BOOM. smoke filled the car and i pulled myself out and laid on the sidewalk as people ran to assist.

I was the most calm and at peace in my life ever after that moment. No high has ever given me that sense of freedom and liberation again.
