I love cactu not only because of his mycological knowledge, but b/c of his heart warming attempts at typing the english language. What's the funniest thing youve ever read from him?

If you do decide to post, let's keep it restecpal. (respectful)
-------------------- Man is timid and apologetic; he is no longer upright; he dares not say "I think," "I am," but quotes some saint or sage. He is ashamed before the blade of grass or the blowing rose.Man postpones or remembers; he does not live in the present, but with reverted eye laments the past, or, heedless of the riches that surround him, stands on tiptoe to foresee the future. He cannot be happy and strong until he too lives with nature in the present, above time TRANSCEND

I think the guy is a badass, and I love how he writes.

A very well educated man in the studies of mycology ( I think he's majoring) who also happens to live in a tropical part of central america, so it gives him the opportunity to show us so many cool exotic mushies we aren't used to seeing.
*EDIT: He dwells in Mushroom Hunting land.

All hail the mighty Cactu and the booty of Mexico!!
You should look in the Hunting forums for his posts, awesome pics, awesome posts.
What I love is the heart and love he puts into giving us a glimpse of the species, but more importantly, a glimpse of his life, heart and soul.

That one confused me for a bit until I remembered that in spanish j's are pronounced h.
With all the latin he uses, english is almost unnecessary. : )
