I need help and advice

My cousin recently passed and I've come into possession of some psilocybin he was growing. My questions are about what I need to do at this stage in the process? What about this mold? Are the stems supposed to be this long? Should I harvest now? Any help would be greatly appreciated as i dont want to see my cousins work be wasted. If they are bad just tell me. Pictures are in the file named "mine" under my profile.

the fuk? ive never seen cubes that skinny.  not sure what that says about your environmental conditions but it almost seems like hes been nuking it with ultraviolet light...


i dunno man id harvest it and toss anything questionable.  personally a little bruising doesnt scare me but mold will invariably give you the bubble guts. 

sorry about your cousin.  have a hard trip for him and process that shit.

harvest all those ...shrooms and expose to a 12/12 hour light cycle and give fresh air(tub has holes? you should be good for that if not then flip the lid)

the substrate may need to be rehydrated with a thorough misting or a dunk if you know whats up.

I think they will be fine if you harvest now. Toss any that have mold on them but they also bruise blue so make sure you are not mistaking bruising for mold. Dry them out in front of a fan until they are dry to the touch then put them in an airtight container with silica gel beads or other desiccant. Make sure to put a screen of some sort between the desiccant and the shrooms so you don't have to sift through them later. As far as mold goes its not ideal but i have consumed mushrooms with a small amount of mold on them and im not dead so do with that info what you will. Im no expert though ive just been doing this as a hobby in my spare time for about a year

if i were to harvest those id make fresh tea so i can enjoy every drop of actives.

You can. Lots of people do it that way. I prefer to air dry with a fan until they are dry to the touch and finish with a desiccant. Its slower but it doesn't expose them to any heat( psilocybin breaks down with heat). Or you can just eat them fresh

heat does not breakdown actives. you dry mushrooms with high heat(160-200f). the way you described is how you dont dry them:nono:

I dont think they are the stipe is the wrong color.

OP has white with cube colored reddish tan caps. Tamps have brownish stipes with brownish caps:shrug:

Err maybe they are tho??.... :sherlock:
