Four 40+ year old DIY's (my name on my arm, some chicks name above my dick, small cross on my hand,
pot leaf on my calf) and 2 shitty jailhouse tats.
No access to ink so I used burnt carbon paper ash mixed with water. :shrug:

I'm having persistent foreshadows that at one point I will have a tattoo.

Interestingly, my dad and his second wife upon marrying didnt opt for wedding bands, but instead both took a tattoo to honor their marriage.

If I end up marrying, I see that as very much an option.

I don't have any, but have thought about a full body cover of all the different trees that I like. Like a taxonomic collection of tree diagrams all over rmy body

I have one currently.  Coordinates of a special place that runs down my bicep.  I've had it about 8 yrs.  Been thinking about getting another one for a very long time now.  I'm not exactly sure what or where it will be but its definitely gonna be associated with mother nature and the great outdoors.

I have a few big ones but I always wanted just one. One big one from the kneck down


Some of my tats dont really mean much to me anymore like I used to play bass guitar for about 10 years and play in bands n stuff. Got tats based around that. Then I got this dishwashing job and after that my wrists would hurt like hell after only 20 minutes of playing. Haven't been able to play for years now. I dont regret the tats though now I see it as a kinda "chapters of my life" thing

Yup, both arms, one leg, and about 3/4 of my torso.

Another great question to ask around these parts would be are you attracted to girls with tattoos? 

My answer is fuck yes I am.

Whether it's just one tattoo or a grip of them, I think they are sexy af.  My girl doesn't have any right now but we've both been talking about it for the last few months.  I bet we get inked together sometime this summer.

Getting inked or pierced together is a wonderful ritual to perform with a partner. I've done so many times.

How about this question

Does it it affect your perception of a person if they have tattoos or have no tattoos?

I find it usually does. Which makes me wonder if that's a change I'd be willing to make on myself. Certain aspects of life would change, not sure if it's all beneficial. Sometimes, to get ahead in the system when it's competitive, you need to be like a chameleon and match the persons characteristics and values that you're trying to impress, a business lead or employer or something like that. Not always but some situations which could be some extra important situations

For me I think it does to a degree, not really reliably, but it does sorta set a pretense on a first impression. Most likely since II've never been tattooed before so I am bias and unknowlegeable. But I'm aware of that, unlike a straight edge person who you have to navigate carefully.

When I meet a person who is fully tatted up I feel more at ease talking to them, since they were wild enough to do that to themselves, then I'm sure they're wild in other ways that we both know about. I find that clean straight edge people can be more tricky and uncertain to deal with in professional situations

I mean - 2-3 cringey ones and its easy to pass it off as some poorer younger decisions...

full upper body and a tramp stamp of cringe... harder not to judge that...At least with dense tattoos - even if they're not great content, theoretically the texture should allow you to just see it abstractly :lol:

I love body art though :awesome: Especially the yakuza style
