Pasty plate ingredient ratios.

Having great success for first time with agar. Thought I was following pastyplate tek to a t. I just realized I've been using only 1/4 teaspoon measuring spoon for the potatoe flakes. So using only a quarter of the potatoe flakes the tek says to use. Going into my 4th set of transfers and had only a few small contams, and fast growth. Should I change to what the tek says?

ive read that reducing nutrients coaxes out rhizomorphic growth.

following this thread. i wanna know cuz all my plates are tomentose ( i actually added a bit too much honey ) and wondering if nutrients were the culprit.
