Aborts are just pins that never swell up. 

If the mushrooms you're showing off in the pictures stopped growing all together at those sizes then your issue is that the substrate ran out of water.  And since they do look dry in those pictures, that's exactly what happened. 

If you're following proper procedures then you shouldn't have this problem.  Therefore I suggest you re-evaluate how you're doing things.  Find a good how-to and follow it to the letter.

All that being said, those are still perfectly munchable mushrooms.

Bottom-watering is one way. Another way is to keep your perlite real moist. Also, mist more often.
