Treasure Coast fast, Ecuador slow
    #638325 - 05/20/02 06:24 PM (22 years, 6 months ago)

Hey there,

I innoculated 6 jars last week, all using PF Tek -- 5 w/ Ecuador strain and 1 w/ some left-over Treasure Coast. The TC is going like gang-busters after 7 days but only 1 Ecuador is showing some mycelium growth. What's the deal? Any way to speed up the Ecuadors or is this just the difference between the strains?

Thanks!

Weird. I noticed that EQ's were very quick colonizers. :/

Same here. EQs were my first flush and they were the fastest out of all the strains I have ever grown. Its possible temp/humidity are slowing growth. Check with each species climate settings and see what the difference is. Also I would shake them.
