I remember going to GameSpot for demos of games that sounded good. Not sure if they still do that, but something to look into :shrug:

Also one other note, look into the Mods for organizing/sorting mods. Can't remember the names of any but there are a few that let you for example save mod sets or auto change the mods to match save files, makes it a lot easier dealing with hundreds of mods :lol:

One other really useful mod is the Manager Page, it adds a page in the tab for managing various aspects of your colony. Also adds a new task called managing where colonists assign tasks to others. This lets you say set a limit like 1000 wood, and if your resources fall under the number a manager will assign trees to be cut. This can also work with minerals like steel, or even wild foods like berries/fruit. It also works with animals, lets you view the numbers for every animal in your area and auto assign colonists to tame certain ones. Also lets you set limits for your livestock so if you go over the limit the extras will be killed for food.

The manager page is very useful, makes it a lot less tedious to manage resources especially earlier on.
