How much light can you see through the gills underneath?

An oyster will mostly be a shade, but angel wings are more translucent.

I found a load of oysters last year but was worried about them being angel wings, and in hing sight they were definitely oysters.

Pretty sure they are more rounded than yours too but not sure.

what kind of wood is it?

I just read that angel wings only grow on conifer wood and oysters are generally on deciduous wood

I don't think it's Angel Wings because I see a stem on one of the mushrooms and Angel Wings don't have a stem. Could you post up close and clear pics of the stem, gills and cap. A spore print and a location might be helpful too.

Welcome to the shroomery, I agree with favolus or neofavolus species, pleurotus species will have gills, not a net like pattern.

What part of Florida are you in? I'm in the Pensacola area.
