Should you see stuff floating in your medicinal hot water extract?

So I am making a dual extract with multiple mushrooms.

After I did the initial how water extract boil I filtered it thru a nut bag and then put it in a jar and froze it until the alcohol extract was done.

Well I just thawed out the water extract and you can see stuff floating in it. Should I be filtering this again? Or is this just the mushroom chemicals floating and this is what you want?

Ok I let it settle and there is definitely a layer of “sediment”.

Your water extract is mushroom soup. I would not try to filter anything out. Shake well to mix it before taking.
