I suppose so,I'm searching now.I'm trying to find the site I was at that listed the market prices of Cordyceps-they were quite expensive from what I remember. Well, maybe they can't be.Not Cordyceps Sinensis anyway! http://www.elitelands.com/cs-4.htm http://www.kalahealth.com/cordyceps_studies.htm This is not the site, just a place that sells them VV http://asiachi.com/cordyceps.html

Wow VVV I guess they can! http://alohamedicinals.com/press_release.html ""Most of the cultivated samples which we tested had no active ingredients whatsoever." Says Doctor Holliday. "The liquid cultured material from China did better than the American samples, which were all grown on a substrate of brown rice." They wouldn't have happened to use the 'Good Ole PF TEK' would they, lol! http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat...ev=#Post2566524 http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat...part=1&vc=1

i'm not sure if you read that right. just to reiterate (paraphrase):
the cultures grown out on BRF had NO actives. actives being medicinally beneficial compunds. aloha's methods involve grains, sorghum, and "additonal nutrients" (ahem, pupae???!!!).
about the only exciting thing i found in the whole article was this sentence:
Quote:
The details of Doctor Holliday's work on this revolutionary new method of Medicinal Mushroom Cultivation is to be published in peer review journals beginning in July of this year.[/quote

I'm not sure "You" read that right! I wasn't implying about their contents,I was only referring to the brown rice method that was used as a substrate to grow them on-as compared to the PF TEK. Sorry for the miscomunication there Debian
