Anyone enjoy weekdays more than weekends?

Been unemployed for a bit.  Weekends don't mean so much when one is unemployed so saith Primus.  M's won't get that one.  But it is wonderful in a survallience state to go around when the ants are busling around in suits downtown and be fucked up and left alone.

People don't expect it.  Societal conditioning.  Even security guards and police.  Got tired of being arrested for petty crimes, public intox.  So now, will go see a movie at 12:00 p.m. instead of a Friday night at 10 and I am left the fuck alone!  What a wonderful thing.

Everyone expects one to be at work.  But no, that I am not. Lol.  Society is kind of fun how ingrained so many are in it and what people give their time and life over to amazes me.  And I did for a long time.

Yep, it's nicer home during the week, cause everybody is off to work.

When possible I take a day off during the week.

Yeah, when I was unemployed.

Now that I have a mon-fri job, I, just like everyone else, is working for the weekend.

So no, I do not enjoy weekdays more than weekends.

I like weekends the most cause of all the cool shows/concerts/events.

But when you are unemployed, yer broke as hell so everyday is basically the weekend but with no money for fun stuff.

But when one does have money for the fun stuff, whatever fun is to you with respect, it is freedom.  Where I live it is 6 thirty a.m. and am getting fucked up.  Then a good walk to a theatre where I might be the only one in it.  Then maybe to a drinking establishment if I can sing or dance.

What can I say?  Life is good.  Not rich by any means.  Just a great satisfaction of having bills paid and the majority of the things that I value in life. 

Never put off paying bills when one has the means.  When I wait, like autopay, I forget and spend it on shit sometimes I don't even remember.  Pay the fucking bills man!  Lol.  Oh this is going to be a good day.

Sometimes when I read someone and their post when in an esoteric state, that vibration is so palpable.  There are some amazing people on the Shroomery.  I really hope they do get shroomery get together this Summer.  I would hitchhike if needs be.

All the people, so many people.  They all go hand in hand.  Parklife.  Know what I mean?  Parklife!  Shit, can't act to happy around the majority of society or will be arrested.  PARKLIFE!  Lol.  All the people, so many people.  I love seeing the drudgery and hard won wisdom I went through and now I can be on the outside looking in.  It is a wonderful feeling.:chesire:

Nope, I have always enjoyed weekends more, even when I had to fucking work them. I do see your point of having the day free of a lot of people when  doing certain social things. My days off used to be tues-thurs, or mon-thur off. I found that going out and rolling balls on a monday night when there isn't many people out is WAY different than a club full of people.

I dropped out of the mainstream economy about 16 years ago. Since then they've all been Saturday.

nice to see other drop out losers like me.
I really only like to go out weekdays before 5pm. movies, hiking, grocery store...
less people is just better. the lack of traffic in getting places is especially nice.
the gym is the one place I don't mind going to on the weekends when its popping. its a stimulating experience, def more interesting than working out alone.

Yeah.  I prepare and that is what makes me laugh about drug/alcohol judgement.  YOUR AN ALCOHOLIC!  And I walk more in a week then most do in a year.  Also give up junk foods and prepare physically before hiking/camping for 23 days. 

The gym is great in Winter.  Summer, naw.  Some dumbells and jogging is all I need.  I love weekdays and watching Colbert and then going jogging in the middle of the street in suburbia where I live.  Their is no one out at 11 p.m. on a weekday and it feels free.  Utah is such a fascist place that they call sainthood where I live now and it does wonders to feel free from it for awhile.

This is my friend see him around from time to time

This was him coming out of a swamp , could hear his belly scratching all up in the rocks

Stopped my bike to stand back and watch him , as he crossed the dirt road into the other side of the swamp

As a teen, I used to swim at a quarry that had a huge alligator snapping turtle in it.  We’d commonly see him sunning himself or surfacing for air in some random spot.  We named it Moose.  I loved seeing the turtle there, there’s a dinosaur-like quality to animals like that, and the quarry was a lot of fun.  There were also these gigantic tadpoles there, like their main body was bigger than a golf ball.  I guess they had to have been bullfrogs.  My friends and I would jump off the quarry ledges, or bring an inflatable raft and just float in the middle while smoking weed.
