Did you buy already sterilized and sealed spawn bags with grain in them?

I didn't mean spawn bags but I actually have some too. I mean substrate. Pre bought casing sub. It was already ready to go but I had them for a month or so.

Casing and substrate are two different things, has it been sealed?

So the bags I bought are labeled bulk casing mix. Here is the description.

Premium Select Bulk Casing is the perfect combination of Coco Coir, Vermiculite, Hydrated Lime, Gypsum, ph buffers, ph stabilizers, mineral water and a few other choice ingredients. Our select casing comes fully hydrated and pasteurized and is ready to use right out of the bag.

I've had them a month. I was wondering if I can resterilize them? Or is there a need to?

So it's sub AND casing.. lol If the bag has been sealed you're probably fine, or if you're that worried you could toss it and just get some lizard substrate coco coir from a pet store and a bag of vermiculite from a lawn/garden store and follow "damion5050s elementary coir tek". IME you don't need all that extra hoopla, just coir/verm, and casing isn't necessary.
