 Mystery number is making me go crazy...what do you think?

This morning I reach into the inside of my coat pocket, which I haven't been wearing for the last few days (except yesterday) to pull out a lottery I had bought yesterday. When I feel it and pull it out it's not my ticket at all but a cut piece of paper, probably about 3x4 or so with a phone no. The number has the same area code as me and it has a girls phone number on it written in a girls handwriting, most probably by the owner of the phone no. It has her first and last name, which is weird. The weirdest thing is I have absolutely no idea whatsoever where the fuck it came from  .
I don't know if the person wrote it down and gave it to me or if someone slipped it in my pocket. Here's why I'm confused, when a girl gives you her phone no. they almost never (in my experience always never) put down their last name which makes me think it is somehow business related, not as in money but a responsibility kind of thing. Also the paper is cut from a larger piece of paper, on the back there's box's for checking off and it says loan type amount etc.. so I think it came from a bank or something similar, and that it came from a stock pile of scrap paper, like they have at the library. Also I put everything in my inside coat pocket, never in the front, and if a girl was too shy to go up and talk to me and give me her no. you would think that she'd put it in the front pocket where I'd find it more easily and that it would have been ripped out not cut waiting to be used as scrap paper. I'm really worried that I put it there and have absolutely no memory of it. I haven't been fucked up enough in months to where I'd completely forget something like that.
I guess the only recourse is to call it but if it wasn't slipped into my pocket I'm going to feel like a complete asshole, especially if a girl that I talked to gave it to me and I have no memory of it, which would be pretty bad considering I'm not exactly a ladies man (I'm really shy, not ugly) and I would remember something like that. What do you guys think? I'll come back with a report on what the hell's going on later.

No don't call her... sit around for weeks on end thinking, "who is it, who is it" then hire a private investigator to follow her around and figure out more about her habits. Then after some months of tailing her, slip a similar scrap of paper in her jacket pocket that says, "hey did you put your number in my jacket?" and include your phone number and a photo-copy of the paper that you found in your jacket.
Much more fun this way!

I think it's business realted and I'm going to feel like a retard calling and asking why I have this no. in my pocket. Her fisrt name is Maureen, makes me think that it's an older person, who the hell names their kid Maureen anymore ? It's like you naming your kid Dolores, not that it's a bad name, just really outdated.

 I knew a girl who would be like 20 now (she unfortunately died in a car wreck a few years back) who was named Evelyn... I always wondered what her parents were thinking.
