You don't want it to live up to it. You want it to exceed it. There is a place beyond where you just went. (no, pressure or anything... :smile:) When you feel ready to go back in try and take control of the experience and look for cracks you might be able to slip through. Again, it's one of those words-don't-really-work things but after a couple of times visiting you'll see.


Where can it possibly go from there? I might increase to 11 grams penis envy. I've been warned you can only go so far before confusion and blacking out.

If I were you, I'd leave it for a bit. After your experience perhaps you need time to assimilate what has just happened to you. I think that will take time. I'm no expert by any means and in fact have only had one trip, but nearly 3 weeks on (from what was a light trip), I'm still coming to terms with my experience and what it all meant. Every day seems to be still showing me something new.

I also wish psychedelics could become more mainstream, if only from the point of view of their therapeutic value. Listening to the radio the other day, they were talking about the misery of cluster headaches. The doctor on the show was talking about all kinds of pharmaceuticals being used to treat this condition. Not once was the use of psychedelics mentioned as being in trial as an effective cure. Drives me bonkers!

I imagine with abject terror which could perhaps result in screaming and confusion and panic. But obviously I can't say for sure. A trip sitter isn't an option.

Does anybody have experience with around that dose of penis envy? What can I expect? How can I maintain a relaxed state during longer periods of ego death when I don't have any concept of myself? What have you found the benefits of ego death to be when compared to just tripping?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

What if you never get ego death you just go deeper....I've smoked alot of DMT in one session .5 grams at my largst. I went places but I was always still me

That's exactly what I said about my high doses of psilocybin until the other day when I pushed it that bit further. Then I disintegrated.

DMT is different anyway. I've always been quite clear headed on it, almost like I'm not on a drug and it's all just visual.

I can rocket through hyperspace in a coffin made of steel and not be alarmed. There was not entity contact that time...the universe was devoid of life.it was like I touched entropy...it was serene and blissfull.
I dose almost daily so mayby that's my problem.mushrooms ony stack

That's why ego death means nothing to me. I guess I had ego death when I shot 4-aco-dmt but I legit almost died so if to achieve it means you need to inject a chemical, tells me many have not had ego death despite thinking they did. I was still myself the whole time even, it's just I blacked out and woke up after the rush had "killed me"...so I guess I had ego death while I was passed out.

Even when I had higher dimensional sex with a female entity on oral dmt, I was still always myself

Ego death as a destination is futile. Psilocybin can bring you to this state as well as DMT LSD and various other substances but it not a guarantee. I enjoy it. It starts happening when I feel overwhelmed and I feel as if I might be dying. Then like a switch of the light I feel no anxiety, no pain no joy no happiness. Just calmness like a lake but then you feel all the ripples and wind pushing waves. The roots in the ground become apparent. You feel and see yourself as a whole, no longer a singular conciseness.
  As far as it being true well, we are a sliver of matter that makes everything. So to be able to lose the idea of a single self and perceive each other as we see ourselves is extremely beneficial to the community. I think it's primarily a big picture kind of concept. Similar to playing a piano rather than building one.
