Need help from someone who knows 80s/early 90s electronic music. * 1
    #25822684 -

I'm looking for a classic rave song with the word John? Johny? In the title of the song. I know that's vague but just think of classic rave songs with that name in the title. Specifically hoping that Burk  or Logical Chaos knows but didn't wanna PM

"Rave" is kind of a non descript term in electronic music. Specifying a sub-genre might help narrow it down...

It's definitely late 80s to early 90s sounding. So....house?....trance....but definitely not GABBER

I'm listening to classical music right now.  Music and brain waves and population control are interesting subjects.

Don't stop now.. .tell me more. I got to see infected mushroom a couple years ago at the lizard lounge (yes with the full band) and it's actually pretty funny I didn't know about the giant room they were playing in so I caught a smaller set almost the whole night in the next room lol

At one time house or rave was the only terms for certain electronic music, most of it really.

I’m not able to figure it out based on the info provided.  It’s tough finding specific dance music online sometimes, given how much of it there is, and the fact that a lot of the older stuff hasn’t been uploaded.  Even with more info, you’d probably still only have like a 50% chance at finding it.  I know how frustrating that can be.

In keeping with the theme of the thread, here’s a song from the 90s that references a raver called “Little Johnny”.  It’s probably not what dude is looking for, but it’s a good classic party tune.

Green Velvet- Flash
