I feel your pain. We'll sort of.

I just turned 30 last month and I still get carded every time for paint, caffeine pills, some otc medicine, tobacco products, etc, basically all the things you have to be 18+ to buy where I live.

Shit a few years ago I remember getting carded a couple times when I went going to see an "R" rated movie at the theatre LOL

I'm just used to having my id out and ready to go when buying stuff, cause I know Ithere is about a 95% chance someone is gonna ask to see it.

It used to sort of piss me off, but as I got further into my 20's I actually started taking it as a complement.

IMO it's way better to be 30 and look like you're 20 than be 30 and look like you're 40+ like a couple of my friends.

Getting carded at 42 is the latest age I heard.

It may be a nuisance to get carded but plenty of people our age look like a potato thats fallen out of the basket and forgotten.

Like dollar general for example.

In Texas we have the TABC "texas alcohol beverage commission" that goes undercover to buy alcohol, and if the cashier doesn't card him/her....your business will be on the news for serving alcohol to minors.

I usually just have my I.D. ready, and more times than not they'll thank me for having it out. It's just procedure...nothing personal. I see soooo many people getting bent outta shape for when the get asked about it.  It takes em more time to huff & puff about it than it would to just have it out...you're going for your wallet anyway. :shrug:
