Timeslip portion for my old '74 turbo bug.  R/T is reaction time.  .140 crossing the lights after a pre-loaded clutch launch beats many keyboard clickers here :tongue:.

Yeah i would just roll up to the line, sometimes deep staging where the first set ov double yellows would go out.  Pull the e-brake and bring the revs up to hold at the window betwixt bogging and blowing the tires off.  Release the clutch to the point ov contact with the lightened flywheel to bring the rear down and save the pinion from shearing its teeth off from shock force.  The yellows drop and i time the full release to draw potential energy from sunoco 112 pooled within a demon 4bbl carb, then sucked and compressed through a t04 turbo wheel spinning towards 100,000rpms as it pushes the mixture to copulation with spark.  Kerpow!  4 aircooled pistons punch a crankshaft levered through a hardened transmission designed in the 1930's to eventually transmit the pent up energy into rounds ov rubber as they claw at the tarmac just in time to propell me and a 1932lb chunk ov old steel over a line in one and a half tenths ov a second.  But i guess that it's not really the same as pushing a button on a keyboard. My bad.

What was your 1/4 mile time? Or was it an 1/8 mile track? Judging by the 60' time you're in the low 13's probably. Sounds like a pretty fun car, but man... Air cooled. That's just weird to me. It's not a fucking motorcycle lol I guess that's just the old vw beetles.
