Anyone else get dumped on nye? * 1

I sure did.  Just an hour before the ball dropped she texted me that she ” just can’t do this.”
I remember ny 16, 17, and my feeling of “well that year sucked”.

My dad is dying.  18 sucked and I suspect 19 will be the worst one yet. 

If only I had known that all those grey times were actually the good times, I might have tried harder to enjoy them. 

So, shout out to anyone else who, on only the second day of the year, knows they still have to live until they die, and are somehow still willing to give it hell.

I feel ya. I think, for the first tine in a long time now though, I'm beginning to see a purpose to it all again, rather than living in a state of nihilistic pessimism.

It's been tragedy followed by suffering followed by depression, cycle repeat, for many years for me now.

And I think I'm *just* realising how to cope. But better than ever before.

The coming year will tell for sure.

Sorry that happened bud.

I got dumped one Valentine’s Day after Suprising this girl with concert tickets to her fsvorite band.  (way in love with her) I can honestly say it was the most well thought after dates I’ve ever taken anyone on.

Fuckin way she goes
