I Dont Like Twin Comedians

You know those comedians/actors that are twins and always have to be in everything together? Like the Lucas Brothers or Sklar Bros.?



Shit fucking gives me bad vibes. I do not like it at all. It is creepy, weird, and every uncomfortable adjective I can think of. Please tell me someone else feels the same about these twin package groups.

Fuck all of you creeps. Imagine having your whole career be one gag. I mean, one.

Here's the thing, right? Most of the jokes made are not about them being twins. Which renders the entire twin gimmick pointless during those sections. But, they of course have to bring up the twin thing EVERY TIME THEY DO ANYHTING EVER. Which, obviously, very quickly becomes old and hacky. So their entire act is always 50% old and hacky, and 50% pointless gimmick with no bearing on the performance at all aside from two guys struggling to tell one story at the same time.

All that not even bringing up the fact that they clearly are fuckin over it. All these twin package groups have such a clear animosity for each other and being handcuffed next to the other their entire career. Just thinking about how strained that relationship must be alone is enough to throw me off. And it doesnt help that just in general, it's fuckin creepy to begin with. Two dudes  that sound exactly alike and look exactly alike telling the exact same jokes at the same time. It is no less than bad-trip worthy and I hope that there will never again be another twin group in media.

Sklar brothers are one of my favorite comedians of all time.

The way they interrupt each other and go back and forth is just pure genius.

Lucas brothers are pretty funny too, similar back-n-forth style. Love it.
