Re: Does time exist? [Re: Enkidu]

Right! Time flies or ceases to exist when we are vibrating high aka just being present. It's based on your emotion which is your soul/experience. It's the opposite for vibrating low. If you want to come at it with a different angle. What happens when you fight somebody in your dreams or escaping from something? It's seems like everything is slowed down. It's because you're vibrating low, out of anger or fear. Your soul is your subconscious, your emotions and feelings. So if you feel happy and uplifted, time becomes fast or cease. If you feel down, you'll experience time being slow. So you could say the dragonfly, as BlueZi mentioned, experiences time slow because it's on a lower soul evolution/vibrating low.

You can also experience time moving fast yet look back and feel like it spanned longer relative to the clock or vice versa though which goes contradictory to what you just said, no?

I mean you could say that. But time according to a clock doesn't exist, most of us seem to overstand that by now. That's why I'm mentioning, your own time in an experience does exist cause you're here experiencing it. Just an external clock time doesn't exist. Like have you looked at a clock in your dreams? It's either scrabbled or changes to random times. Cause time in those terms don't exist.

Time exists only as it is needed and not when it is not.

Following that reasoning I would then propose that the time according to the clock exists exactly just as much as the activity that you experienced without thought of the clock. If you are not experiencing something external then what is it that is being experienced?

You experience a lot internally, in your subconscious body, and "external clock time" doesn't exist there. Like I said, when you sleep you go to your soul body and experience there. This external is the last part of everything.

Well I took the time to go thru the whole thread, but it is still now.
That's obvious, yet in 5 pages, (it seems) no one mentioned that time is paradoxical,
and yet the question is a 'yes / no question', (which denies an answer that respects this truth)
funny

Once one attunes to time's paradoxical nature,
one can also consider that time has no duration,
as you can't get outside of (infinite) time to measure (how long) it (is)
also sort of paradoxical

(Likewise space has no size
as you can't get outside of (infinite) space to measure (how big) it (is))

and of of course the now can be infinitely divided and the future & past  are impossible to visit. In fact the present is so infinitely tiny it is also ungraspable. Like a geometric point it seems only theoretical, yet it is eternal.

So one might say time is that which screws with 'left brain thinking'.

and just for fun:
The time it takes to process sensory stimuli in the brain means all our experiencing is time delayed, but the brain compensates, so that we are never conscious of this fact.

You cannot know that space has no size and by extension that it is infinite, that is a falsehood. For example space could be cyclical, view it like the earth itself. Prior to our ability to leave the earth you could say, "earth is infinite and you cannot go outside of it to measure how big it is." However you can make a relativistic measurement of the surface just as we can of space itself and if you circumnavigate the earth that is one way in which it can be measured. If space is curved loop/closed system as well then the same would be possible, one need not leave it to measure it. The same property would extend temporally as well.

We say the experiences are internal colliquially, but are the experiences in effect anything without change? We are experiencing how we feel/think now relative to how we felt or thought before (external).

If I for instance am feeling anger would the feeling of anger exist if I had not experienced a lack of anger at some time prior for which to contrast it with? You are correct that these experiences are not external to our self, but I still think it would be valid to say they are external to the present now.

Apparently! Its just relative. Heres a trippy one for u... when u walk up a flight of stairs u actually imperceptibly slow the earths rotation speed because you (mass) are farther away from its center. Just like how an ice skater spins faster or slower depending on the position of their arms

So tell me how big is space? And what could be outside of it, that is not more space?
It is the same with the number line, numbers are infinite, yet we cannot say how long the line is. Because we know numbers are infinite (in fact there is even a mathematical proof that a subset of numbers is infinite, namely the primes).

In fact  it seems impossible to imagine the infinite, and perhaps even to imagine it as something in motion that keeps growing is inadequate?

If it's not known how would I possibly be able to tell you how big space is? An absence of evidence is not an evidence of absence. By this same logic god must be real because we can't prove otherwise.

edit: Another way to answer this question however would be to say that space is exactly 13.8 light years across as it is defined to be by the speed of light/age of the universe. Whether space extends beyond that is a non question when you factor in that we will never see it; it makes as much sense as asking what is before the beginning of time.

For the overall space topic, you should give this a watch. Really all of his videos too, to be honest.

If the mirror had a secret.
Could it be you.
Never the full story.
Life forever askew.

Building on riddles.
Sleeping with lies.
Semantics still quibbles.
Yet real never quite catches the eyes.

But I'm sure you believe.
As we all must.
This painless reprieve.
Our self in which we trust.

Though for a second.
Or maybe an even two.
Remember that your infallible  reflection.
Can no longer be you.

It's possible if they had a need for it because they are living and capable. But if I had to guess they probably don't. They probably use a different more intricate way of telling how and why things change like sensing color and temperature differences. There's no way of knowing unless one was able to communicate with a tree.

Without social communication among species there would be no use for time. One would use the change in the sun's angle in the sky temperature changes and whatever else to create a schedule if needed. For example prehistoric man probably moved around based on the changes they lived among like seasons. Going about life by Mathematical time wouldn't be a thing if there was no communication imo

Different lifeforms experience time at different rates. Plants experience time very slowly as it takes months for it to move inches.
