Infinitely small and losing reference..................bliss

Do you ever lay in the darkness before sleep and just surrender to the vastness as you lose the reference of your physical sensations. Like sensory deprivation: you can't see your body or your environment. You are on your back with your hands and feet relaxed away from you so are less aware of your body. If you surrender to this feeling long enough, the detachment from the earth plane, you may begin to feel infinitely LARGE, permeating everything. I've sometimes experienced this while reading or typing. Or sitting in a lecture at school.

I was reminded of this sensation by a post about DXM. When i was a child, I had a fever. My hands felt just like two ballons. A floydism that mirrors my experential reality. My first memorable fever was my first psychadelic experience. 2 or 3 days of oblivion. The first time i physically experienced the duality of infinitely large and infinitely small. Every now and then I long for the assimilation expansion. DXM seems to reproduce aspects of it quite nicely.

Anybody know what I'm talking about?

Yeah, i get that too sometimes.

Around the time i first started smoking a lot of kind bud, I used to hear some noise that would get increasingly louder as i approached the moment of falling asleep, then the noise would be so loud i'd wake up.
