Philosophy besets science, exercising right brained philosophical thought, what you call "stupid", leads one to valid approaches to bring into and expand the field of science among other things you are not appreciating. If you only have a scientific hammer in your cognitive tool box then you're going to see a lot of "stupid" nails.

:lolwut:

When you come up with a good theory that we and everything on this earth does not actually exist then we can start talking about time...

You do realize there are whole branches of study and university level courses pertaining to this very topic? You're making yourself look very foolish.

If I wrote you a letter, sent it to you and on opening it the message reads. "Does the postal service deliver letters?"

This thread is a hell of a lot like that letter.

There's university courses in David Beckham studies, Phalluses, Ufology and that great old tome of wisdom Homeopathy.

Apparently there's a whole course on whether or not Harry Potter is real also.

I'd definitely take that as side on my Parapsychology units and Miley Cyrus studies.

Just because things are "taught" in universities does not mean there is any merit to them... just like when things are illegal it does not necessarily mean they are immoral.

You don't think humanity is behind in their discoveries? Maybe they are focused on too much logic instead of balancing the right-left brain. Like you said one without the other wont do. But if you are referring to me about reaching with what I mentioned. How so?

I think this attitude is a defensive response to humanities prevelant history of dogmatic right brained thinking, namely when it comes to religion and their dismissal of science and empiracle evidence.

Unfortunately it's lead to a reactionary form of dogmatic left brained thinking where the person dismisses right brained thinking as invalid and effectively loses the ability to do so themselves. A healthy mind should be able to exercise both forms of thought, and they should not conflict but instead build off of one another.

I agree you need both, right and left. I'm just saying scientists keep trying to find evidence external to them. Which can take longer to find an answer cause you're just looking in the energy realm. If they went within themselves, they can get their answers much faster. That's why people say meditate to find God or to get answers in general. Because you're going back towards soul and the spirit. What I mentioned above contains both left and right brain. You can call it frequency, vibration, energy.. Unconscious, subconscious, conscious.. space, time,  matter.

It’s the energy realm guys!

Our souls can sublimate Truth from it!

Match the frequency of our chakras to the vibration of consciousness and time ceases to exist!

well it's kind of magical how time is related to gravity, however, in ordinary life as well as the psychedellosphere, the sense of time passing is what counts to our feeling selves.

we can use our intelligence to analyze that and gain some benefit, but that analysis is unlike the analysis which explains Einstein's discoveries about how gravity affects time and space.

in human scale reality (which is only relativistic as we consider atomic energy and the stars) we have internal clocks or sense of time intervals, and it is highly reliable until we get stoned or emotional.

yeah, but even when stoned or emotional it is working fine (the built in sense of time passing) but moments continue and pile up on top of the previous ones: the passing of time continues but at any particular stoned moment we may not see our current time sense, instead we may still be a few minutes back, stuck and resonating in our stack of recent experiences, or shunting back and forth to make deja vu.

Small creatures like dragonflies perceive time extremely slowly. Their brains are small enough that they process what information they can gather extremely quickly. A dragonly would have a need to use clocks that represent time in a different way than we do, but the world external to them doesn't change. Thats why we say time is relative.

It's just a measurement humans created. If never thought about doing so.. no one would ever be late to work..

Time is aleays the same, how we precieve it is relative. A second is still a second no matter what. But it can be precieved differenly. Thats why some days go by slow and others fast. Same thing.

This is true but only living things have a perception therefore it is created through our presence physically and mentally in this space. Inanimate objects don't have any relation to time because it is something we made up to distinguish between changes in the space around us due to our perception of the world because we are living high af

i have experienced the passage of time....

what is time for, though?

what purpose does it serve in its' relation to other dimensions?

while our sun drags us through space,
caught in its wake,
circling the universal center,
as we reach different regions of space,
we have different energetic reactions to the density of charged particles in that region,
and fire off a place field to mark our progress so as when we are here again one rung up/down we know what to do.
ever have déjà vu?

And why do people say time is going by slow or "times flies by when having fun"? What are they doing in those moments?

Their perception of the experience

Time flies when we're having fun because we aren't paying attention to it. We're caught in the flow.

Time moves slow when we wish to escape our current experience, and count every second until it's departure
