Time is based on earth's rotation and orbit.  Yeah it's a thing...its how we keep track of shit.

Every second is infinite. Within one second there is an infinite amount of points during that one second. You literally experience infinity every second of the day

Yes, but not in the sense of duration. We relate time to much with a progression when it's just there always. We precieve time as a sense of duration because of our own mortality.

Time in infinite , especially in the sense of choice we make that affect the future. Or ones we don't make that still have an effect. Sorry I'm rambling and high.

If u stay awake for 5 days and get sent to a mental hospital for dilerium and get desensitized, no. Your clock can become out of sync and you'll experience time at a different rate than the rest of the world. You'll be able to experience time at faster speeds and clocks won't make sense anymore.

The effects will last ~2 weeks after getting released from the psyche ward aswell

At one point I was watching videos and they were playing at faster rates. At one point I thought the internet was a manifestation of my subconscious and that technology was also an illusion.

Delirium is a trippy ass place

That does sound crazy. Once like more than 12 hours after dropping acid and mostly coming down I started hearing music except the instruments each played at different speeds. I could pay attention to one instrument or voice at a time and have it work normally, but together it sounded like an out of sync race. Lights were also changing colors. I don't know why it lasts so long for me when I don't sleep after lol

Time is simply how we measure change.

Change is constant.

Everything is always changing.

We give it the label of time

Time of course is a man made concept, our interpretation and label of change

Of how we percieve reality and events

I kind of feel like time is an unseen element. It has effects on us as living beings as well as inanimate objects. It’s something we have no control over. We can’t stop it but we do things to try an influence it’s effects in the future. Humans named it time and gave it measurements, seconds, minutes, days
and years to try and make sense of it. The same as we call wind wind and measure it’s speed.

I was tripping balls when this idea came to me. I can’t remember most of it. But it made sense at the time lol. I need to start writing shit down lol.

Time is relative, as someone else said it's just the measure of change. So if time did not exist there would be no now because now only exists in relation to the past and future.

Time may be cyclical or finite or infinite or this could just be. Simulation.

if time is real it could be open to manipulation.
do you believe the future is already set in stone?

I  think its something along these lines. Every moment is a door into the infinite.

I once passed out while on acid and found myself in a giant field of sunflowers and a warm glowing sun. It felt like I spent an eternity in there. When I came to I asked my girlfriend how long I was gone for, I passed out for 2 seconds and came to.

I view the future and free will as a kind of probability matrix. It's like if you find yourself walking down a path through the woods you're far more likely to follow that path because you have no other cause to change course, but you are perfectly free, at any time, to go off of that path and create your own.

In that sense I think the question of determinism/free will is pidgeon holed into a binary one, does it or does it not exist. The answer however is not binary, no one has absolute free will, but neither is anyone devoid of choice either, if they were they would be unable to even contemplate the question to begin with. In the same sense after the question is posed they also have no choice but to consider it.

The word used to describe something is not what that something actually is.

Time is jist a word. Does it exist? Of course. Words are used to describe phenomenon.

A better understanding of time would be not if it exists or not but what is "time" really?

What is it that we are describing ?

Our perception of the phenomena of experienced change

Time changes when our perception of phenomena changes.

Relativity.

Time is the 4th dimension we use to describe our scientific method.

Believe in it or not it's the reality that makes this reality possible.... there's a cool vid about that somewhere. Let me find it, ah... there we go.
