I think you are trying to categorize every bit of violence in the world by political party, which is a huge waste of breath considering you have not one piece of objective evidence to prove these French people are, even as a stretch, mostly right wing.

Even though leftists think they are mind readers, they are not. It's not mind reading, but a desperate attempt to force unverifiable evidence down someone's throat.

I would be willing to bet that these people are a mix of all parties who are pissed about money.

I've sent some messages to my anarchist compañerxs in France for some insight. From my seat way across the ocean, it does look to be a popular movement with support and participation from both the far-right and far-left. For example, both Marine Le Pen and Jean-Luc Melenchon have backed the movement.

Unfortunately, these situations often prove to be fertile breeding ground for fascists, and if the reports of racist and homophobic attacks are to be believed, it's safe to say that Frances far-right extremists are out there in the crowd. If people remember what happened in Ukraine during the Euromaidan, there was a similar problem with fascists groups infiltrating (sometimes openly) the protest.

But, I saw this picture among many letting me know that some of Frances anarchists are out there too.

It is absolutely astounding to me that you actually believe racism, and all the other 'isms', are attributes of only the right wing. This is a lie and straight up propaganda.

As far as I can tell, leftists and democrats have always been the most racist party and continue to be. Their policies have backed racism all throughout American history. They are still obsessed with race today.

You would be much wiser to admit that racism exists on all sides.

I'll back a fascist before I back an anarchist burning shit down in front of historical monuments. Any day of the week. France has been asking for scenes like this forever, though. Cant blame some bored punks with too much testosterone that they grabbed an excuse to act like assholes and raise hell for the next few days. They're gonna do millions in damage, injure dozens, accomplish nothing, then disperse, leave the government to clean up their mess, and then we'll forget about it. All while they dont even bother to do a moment of research as to why the fuel prices are going up, and whether or not it is worth staging a riot at one of the most symbolically and historically powerful sites on earth.

Flamboyant ignorance on both sides. As always. Humans are dumb as fuck

A gay couple was beat up, a muslim woman had her veil removed and mocked, and a black woman was told to go back to her country. Does sound like far-leftists to you? Come back when it's a cop being attacked and maybe I'll believe you.

The far-right has repeatedly aligned itself with anti-lgbt, anti-islam, and anti-migrant policies. I have every reason to assume that the above assaults were inspired by right-wing ideology.

What reasons do you have to place these views on the left? You've been saying that the left is the most racist since your original melt days ago, and how you "have seen a lot of leftist racism, sexism, and ageism in here" but I haven't seen you provide a single example to back up your position.

I'm calling you out. Citations needed. Given as this thread and discussion involves France particularly - why should I associate anti-lgbt, anti-islam, and anti-migrant views and assaults with anything but social conservatism and far-right extremists?

On this board, people have shown disdain for Mexican Catholics, likening them to rapists. People have stated that old men shouldn't be able to have positions of power. The left is obsessed with skin color and attacking straight white Christian males. The left doesn't believe in individualism, but grouping people by racist identity politics, which sows division in America.

Not to mention the Dems defended slavery, enacted Jim crow, and, today, psychologically segregate people with terms like white privilege.

The left is obsessed with attacking people based on their immutable characteristics.

Further, everything is not so black and white as you see it. There are shades of grey everywhere and people on both sides who agree on some things, but not others.

You know damn well that right-wing policies target race related issues like immigration more than the left wing.
