Face Spasms when Tripping - Normal ?

whenever i smoke too much weed by accident or have too many edibles
I get to a phase of really strong facials spasms.

Im always trying to be relaxed and just let it go.

it usually starts a couple minutes into a 'too high' weed trip.
my whole face is making spastic movements like this
jack Lalanne face workout video (starts at 1.20)

they become very intense, hard.

my face muscles cramp up and make all types of faces even my tongue.
I do Not control it, feels like my body is doing that automatically.


is that normal or am I frying something?
never seen anyone else doing this on weed.
whats the cause of this.

Muscle spasms happen to me when I'm dehydrated and that's about it

well I get face twitches / spasms on Mushrooms or LSD. It's kinda like my epilepsy is been isolated to just my face and it only lasts uselly about 2-10 minutes. the twitches are subtle nothing like that video, what your describing seems a lot more drastic.

I have seen people do heavy of face movements like that on Meth or a lot of MDMA, but never cannabis. It's funny when I get those face twitches I just ignore them and close my eyes and if there is music playing the twitches can like, sync up to the music it's kinda funny.

But if your doing that level of face cranks uncontrollably from only cannabis, and assuming your a healthy individual, you seriously might want to get your brain checked. It could be a sign of some sort something not going right within your networking.

this only happens when I smoke too much.

my face is cramping up and changing in movements every couple seconds.
smile, sad, angry, tongue ... all facial muscles spasm up.


its like in the video, but I get that on weed

It may be sort of an involuntary OCD where you feel compelled to distort your face but to a degree that it feels involuntary.
I have read that OCD may be in some cases due to lack of serotonin receptors but that wouldn't explain why weed does it.

Idk for sure, if it really bothers you speak to a professional about it.

Drink some damn water bruh I guarantee your spasms will lessen when you're properly hydrated

its straight from the coffee shop 100% legit.

I dont think its dehydration cause I drink a lot of water.

I would say don't smoke a lot then bro, only take one or two hits, see if that helps.

Maybe has to do with something in your diet or medications you're on maybe

I think certain meds can cause muscle spasms

if smoking weed sends you into a trip then maybe weed is not right for you. stick with a juice box.

I can handle it when Im tripping from weed.

just asking if I fried something or whats the cause of these
STRONG facial spasms.

and no I do not do the spasms on purpose and I do NOT take any medications nor have a bad diet.

Seems like you may have some sort of disorder. I'd go see a medical professional to see what they say.
