ID request FIRST POST

Habitat: Growing off the roots of a tree that was cut down a year ago. Also next to the stump in a clump.

Gills:
tan orange becoming darker with age attached

Stem:
hollow thick Orange to tan-ish

Cap:
gets to be 7in starts convex to uplifted orange bruising blue and green

Spore print orange

Bruising:
blue and green

upstate NY summer to fall They were on the way out by the time I took pictures. I was thinking a Gymnopilus?

Looks like Lactarius deliciosus group. Do the gills exude a milky substance when injured? If so, what colour is the milk?

No, they're definitely not Gymnopolis or any other active species.

They are old, so dry? If I find a fresh one I will cut it. Because it sure looks like Lactarius Deliciosus.
