I think we forget these days how civilized society is.

Did you know that if you are homeless and hungry, you can stand behind a KFC and they are obligated by Colonel Saunders will to serve you a complete meal as long as you don't reveal you are in need?

Anyone else have tips for dealing with crisis with dignity? We all deserve it.

4 months in the dead of winter, mostly shawnee country winter of 2014. I still can't feel parts of my foot and it took me most of a year working at McDonalds and then a dinner theater I still hope I deserved to pay off what I owed.

I wish I was open as I used to be. I know I have PTSD. I don't know what else to tell you except that I'll tell you anything and you can't hurt me so ask away.

I wish the mugshot system was up then so you could know why Sgt. Wiggins called me Perfect Teeth Guy and why Al Asaad gave me a private shower.

It's because I treat all humans with equal dignity irrespective of anything.

That's a stupid thing to say. Do you think being in the military makes you special? It doesn't. Granted, it's not like there isn't an elevated instance of PTSD in the military, but someof that can be attributed to the practices of said military. Shit happens all over, which is kind of "the point" in many people's active duty.
