microdosing advice

Hello!

I am looking to start microdosing psilocybin/psilocin.

I had some cracker dry mushrooms, and used a blender to make them powder. I wanted to dose approx .1 gram. I don't have a scale so I measured .2 cc/ml of powder in a syringe.

Depending on density of the powder, .2 cc/ml should fall between .08 - .16 grams... still well below the .25g guideline for a microdose.

I dumped the .2cc powder into a cup with 5ml of hot water, let it steep 10 minutes, and used a cotton ball to get the water in the syringe without solids.

The water came out super blue. Like food-coloring blue. I poured some juice into the cup and drank the solids and residues that remained.

After about half an hour I do feel mildly high from the residues. Not sure if it's placebo effect, expected effect of a microdose, or if the powder may have been abnormally potent (I don't think so, but I am a noob to all of this.)

Appreciate any feedback on the following:

(1) Any better options for preparing a microdose than above that doesn't involve a precision scale, or making pills?

(2) Is it expected to feel mildly high from a microdose; or should it be completely unnoticeable?

(3) Is it expected for the water to come out such a deep color blue? I think a normal tea would not be as blue because of the greater concentration of water to powder.

When I was weighing my microdoses, .1 gram powdered cubensis would fill a 00 capsule about a 1/4 full. I'll take a picture. . .

This is about what I usually put in a capsule without weighing. I threw it on a scale and it's about .21. If I take any more than this, I begin to notice some slight threshold effects, though very minor.

As far as preparing a tea, I have no experience, I've always just scooped some into a 00 cap and take with water. It seems like the quickest, easiest method.
