i would say the nuclear family has gone the way of the american dream, it is not a feasible structure without one parent staying home with the kids.

the black community is even harder pressed with the lack of opportunities large portions struggle against.

think about it like this, the black community is calling for drug legalization as their community has been ravaged by the culture and backlash of drug laws. why would they support drug laws, a policy that has preyed upon their demographic that obviously doesn't work and affects their community negatively?

is a family nuclear when the kids are raised at daycare due to the parents working? it isn't 1950's america and trying to retain cultural aspects that no longer serve the community is just illogical.

i have an old friend and former roommate that is black and from the south, intelligent guy all around. i learned a lot from him as my background is rural staggeringly predominate white while his was urban and predominately black. he kept his grades at flat flat C because scholastic achievements were persecuted as attempting to be white, as highschool was nearing an end many peers 16-20 were already gobbled up by the gangs as there are NO opportunities. he ended up joining a circus to escape and never looked back.

the culture has been hijacked, purposely sabotaged for generations to keep their race as second class. i mean for fucks sake it took a black president to finally reverse sentencing disparities decades later despite the blatant racism involved in the motivations.

please forgive disenfranchised communities for not whistling while they work in a system that literally profits from their suffering.

It was a rather high profile case. Lot's of white people are tired of black people being shot at much high rates than white people. Why do white people care?
