Joseph Newman argues that the sociopath has an attention bottleneck that allows him to focus only on one activity or train of thought, to the exclusion of others.

Kind of like spending an hour bumping every thread you can find with the word sociopath.

Sociopaths are usually pretty manipulative and I cant think of any examples of him doing this but idk

Only hope can give rise to the emotion we call despair. But it is nearly impossible for a man to try to live without hope, so I guess that leaves Man no choice but to walk around with despair as his companion.

Sociopath are those that know they are negative in society and do not care.  Impuslive, manipulative, will do anything for their pleasure at the expense of everybody around them

These are the people you want out of your life... then again if you want a thrilling evening of degenerate debaucherie, that the guy you want to see for that

99% of them are non-criminal.  The biggest myth surrounding psycho/socio is that we are all serial killers in the making or in the mob.  Not true.  Most people are good.  Most of them dont even know that fall under that label.

We all know a crazy motherfucker that wants to steal a fucking car just for the thrill and then park it back where he stole it or some shit.  Get that guy drunk and soon after he’s trying to explain to the judge what the hell happened... the lawyers and judge all want to laugh.... pure stupidity is hilarious....  unfortunately they have a job to do and community service is a thing

How many of you people ended up in prison for having too much of a good time?

See what I did there

: P

Oh shit....

I thought he meant just a regular seizure... then again everything can kill you...

Sorry buddy.  I had no idea you could die if not taking benzos... one more reason for me to fear pills

What did you actually say to the guy Pat?

His reaction was well out of line by comparison, I'm sure.

Let it be seen that you are nothing. And in knowing that you are nothing... there is nothing to lose, there is nothing to gain. What can happen to you? Something can happen to the body, but it will either heal or it won't. What's the big deal? Let life knock you to bits. Let life take you apart. Let life destroy you. It will only destroy what you are not.

Ate 4mg of xanax. It's going to be a crazy night. My gabapentin isn't working because I changed my diet and went into withdrawals. At least I have the xanax. I was shaking and close to seizure. Fuck me...

The seizure would have been better I think.

Well, I didn't know the guy was actually panicked to that point... I thought I was just relapsing.  I had no idea he even did benzos regularly... I should have known better...

Just a regular seizure? You never want to have a seizure. Even a routine seizure can cause brain damage and functional changes. Seizures often result in physical injuries from falls, sprains, pulled muscles, and a seriously bitten cheeks and tongue. My dad had a seizure that resulted severe memory deficits that took weeks to resolve. (He didn’t know who anyone was for a a few days. Didn’t know what year it was. Pretty much anything that had happened
In the past 40 years was lost temporarily)
