You can't even use LSD, mushrooms, or peyote freely in the US. In many states you can't even use weed.

There is definitely nothing great about that. These are very basic freedoms, yet we Americans are denied them.

While the US is a better place to live than many other places on earth, that doesn't make it great.

We still have a lot of work to do before we can be a great country.

I disagree, for the vast majority of US citizens, it has "gotten worse, in aggregate". I think Bernie would agree with that statement.

If anyone said capitalism failed the working class 40 years ago, they would have looked at that person like they had two heads. Today, it's a very fair debate. :shrug:

The greatest freedom is economic in nature, when that goes away people start embracing the PC playbook and sign-up for whatever form of victimization that suits their need.

"America First" does a good job of summarizing why he will ultimately go down as a huge failure. It is a myopic and sad statement given the realities of the world today.

How is drug use a basic freedom? Almost every country has outlawed drugs and many of them outright murder you for offending.

The Democratic Socialist wing is actually founded on worker rights and equality, not some halfassed bumper sticker slogan dog whistled out to the racist masses by a billionaire real estate mogul.

Why would it matter if other countries have outlawed drugs or not?
