Thanks man!!!
:sunny:

These are little shy of 5 and a half foot tall.
It also has a begonia grown into it.

I was really surprised.
From what I read it takes years for them to flower and that blade will die a year or so later.

I got lucky and bought this for five bucks about four or five months ago.

I have a new blade coming up also!!!

Two pups on my agave there in the background.

I'm soo sorry about your pain. I know the feeling well as I have sever lower back pain that I deal with every day but I imagine nerve pain is much worse.

BTW what did you mean by what you said about shroomy and Jon?

Just mutual friends of Snakeye & myself. We had a slack workspace for mycology, and a pretty tight knit little group. Snake quit then I quit, so I was just wondering if the others carried on

Lophophoroides blooming again. Same blooming display as 7 days ago. All my cacti love summer.
Turbinicarpus lophophoroides are morning bloomers. They don't need to be blasted by sunlight to open their flowers.

Any ideas?

I've got one of these that's been flowering for the past 3 years. It seems to be the exact same variety too.

It’s very pretty! Good job I didn’t make passionflower tea, would’ve been clematis tea hahaha :rofl2:

This is more of a tease, I planted loads of seeds earlier in the year, I’ve no clue what this is but it’s got bigger and Bigger, and bigger, but now it’s making a flower! It’s not a sunflower I didn’t get any of those but I don’t remember buying any that looked like this hahaha....
I’ll post again when it does flower but for now, a tease

Well it is a sunflower for sure. I'm going to put my money on Citrus or Teddybear by the look of the petals about to erupt from the flower. I'm growing both of those this year.

Maybe it was a stow away sunflower you got by accident?

Cool tread, and lots of awesome pictures!
I too like to take pictures of random flowers I see on my journey's.
Here are just a couple of many...

I can't recall where I saw these ones.

I saw this guy on a construction site in St Augustine.

This shot is from Paynes Prairie in Gainesville.

Thanks for looking!

A house over the road has a load, I wonder if seeds blew over haha, can’t see it though as only in the pot, I’ll keep checking and grab a pic when it opens up, been watching them for ages! I’m sure I didn’t buy sun flower seeds though is very strange hahahaha
