Lophosaurus, I like to think of sinsemilla cannabis buds as horny girls who are getting thick and juicy for their last hope of getting laid. Or I guess more scientifically they're a bunch of unfertilized female flowers. But the first sounds more fun, its kinda like if you heard someone say Id love to eat some plump plant ovaries, instead of an apple. But idk what the hell im talking about, my minds kinda in a weird place right now.

Here's some flowers!
I think these are some wild Black-Eyed Susans

And here's some zinnia in a yard I look after

And lastly here's a flower of a volunteer peanut plant. I think a squirrel planted it

What is cannabis? People call it a flower, but is the bud actually a flower? It just doesn't look like the typical flower.

Most typical plants/flowers have both male and female parts.

Cannabis has male and female plants. So 'bud' is the female flowering parts.

Thanks! This is my first time having one bloom & I’m a nooby cactus grower, so no secret. Just luck of the draw I suppose

Hey Snakeye! One day at a time my friend, I hope you’re doing well too!

Do you mind me asking what state you live in and how long you've owned this flowering Tricho? Also did it come to you pre-rooted by any chance?

I imagine he lives in a desert/tropical style climate. Trichos won't flower everywhere sadly.

You can only get flowers if you live in an area where the climate is a certain amount close to the climate they come from. So this is sadly not something we can all hope to see from our own plants.

Southern California climate. It’s been much hotter than usual lately, and that’s when that flower took off. I’ve had them for about a year and a half. They were rooted when I bought them. The others got the fuzz on them like they were ready to flower, but they don’t look like they’re going to.

Oh ok That makes since. It was a weather shift this season that brought on the flowers. Do you have any pollen to pollenate that flower with by any chance?

This is amazing.

The only specimen I saw in bloom were grown indoors just behind a window in full sun exposure. I guess they need heat and drought to bloom.

No pollen. Unless one of my other cacti pollinated it? Not really sure how that works...

No petals make it look different as some flowers too

Does anyone here have any Trichocereus Pollen??? If we can get The Milkman some pollen within the week he can Pollenate that partial Monstrose Pach and probably hook some people up with some seeds.
