Does anyone think reincarnation is a possibility? * 1

As someone who doesn't believe in religion  I am skeptical of the concept of reincarnation but I do find comfort in the idea of it.

Anyway I was wondering, does anyone here actually believe in reincarnation?

The idea of death is the biggest joke of all. There are few things I’m more sure of. You have lived, and will live again. Some might think that morally liberating, but in all honesty it’s just as much a cage as it is the pasture. One and the same, so it is what you want it to be. I like to think of it as experiencing what a moment truly is. Great in practice, hard to see in the long run. Like zooming in and seeing what was between the pixels.

After creating a hodge podge of all the major books. Ya absolutely.

I believe we all live multiple lives. To be near god you have to be near perfect.

The egg by Andy Duir was a great read. I'd hate for this to be it. It's plausible that it is. As none of us know but we want to believe there is better. I do think there is just darkness after life but I also think that we will face more life challenges to talk to god one day.

I had a ghost cat hang out with me for about 3 weeks so I know there is life after death. :shrug:

I have this crazy theory that our “real lives” are actually somewhere completely different.  So when we die here we don’t necessarily reincarnate as a deer etc. we just wake up back in our “real life”, like awakening from a dream.  This earthly life is but a college course in our infinite pursuit of learning the multifaceted thing that is life.

Down yourself a handful of shrooms and reaally contemplate what infinity means.  That means the rides go on, forever... all different kinds of fun houses.

No. That would be magic and there is no magic. There's no ghosts, spells, voodoo, goblins, gods, or hell. Religion is a scam that prey's on weak people with low IQ's. It's a nice thought, but simply isn't true. You are alive and conscious because your body is. When your body dies you die.

When you die your soul comes out of your body and goes into another lifeform that is based on how you behaved? No, it doesn't

I think the reasons why it shouldnt exist far outweigh the reasons it should.

Same goes for the soul, religions and whatnot

In the old Indian texts, reincarnation is mentioned as well as technologies, mathmatics and medical information thats relevent. Im convinced ancient Indians had ET contact in some way.

Only believe in reincarnation as far as redistribution of matter and energy is concerned. The food chain basically.

Only believe in a soul as far as the immaterial effect you have on the material world, those fabrications of human thought like language, music and money that make mountains of concrete form where it wouldn't naturally, how your memory can outlast your own life and you can continue to affect things well beyond your sell by date. That's about as far as I can take the idea of a soul when speaking literally.

Both exist beyond a reasonable doubt in this context, but it's really a semantic band-aid used to bring ancient concepts into a more logical way of looking at them. It's like saying God is the Universe as a whole, or karma is merely cause and effect and good intentions carry the weight most of the time rather than as a rule. These are my personal definitions of these things for the most part.

Yeah i have a similar outlook on the Soul.

I believe the soul is energy in some form, and according to Einstien, energy cannot be created nor destoryed. Its just "there" much like God and Souls i presume. Therefor the Soul is energy and can be transfered between dimensions perhaps.

Same. If you go off astrology I should almost be done as an Aquarian. Take it with a grain of salt though. It's an interesting concept but pseudo science. Fun reading about it though.

When I do die I'd want to be planted as a tree. A nice willow or oak. Sturdy and strong. I think I'd make a great tree. :lol:


My grandkids and great grand kids could play on me as I grew along with them. I think that's an interesting thought. Better than being buried in a box. Cemeteries are depressing.
